Mayhem is a character appearing in the 2016 Ghostbusters film, portrayed by Chris Hemsworth as the receptionist Kevin Beckman when possessed.

Mayhem is essentially the main antagonist's (Rowan North) tool to spread chaos and paranormal activity throughout New York City. He is a malevolent spirit possessing Kevin and amplifying his inherent awkwardness into outright antagonism.

His first appearance is effectively the 2016 Ghostbusters film when Kevin puts on a pair of glasses that allow Rowan to possess him and subsequently be called Mayhem.
